Jamestown Canyon Virus
The doctor noticed it for the first time in the 1980's. It is near Boulder, Colorado. If you catch it, you may have symptoms reminiscent of influenza such as fever and headache. A more serious problem can be inflammation of the brain or spinal cord. The mosquito that gives you this disease lives all over North America, but every year there are only a few cases in the United States.
