La Crosse Encephalitis
Every year, this virus has about 100 cases in the United States. Mosquitoes chew during the day, usually spring to early autumn. They live in the upper Midwest, Central Atlantic and Southeastern forest areas. If you get sick, you may get fever, nausea, headaches, but many people do not notice.
